What is Paediatric Physiotherapy?
Paediatric Physiotherapy involves an accurate assessment of the child followed by the prescription of an individual treatment programme.
The treatment programme includes an explanation and instructions as appropriate to the specific child. Each treatment programme takes the child’s and family’s individual needs into account.
‘Paediatric practice takes into account the fact that the child is not a small adult, but a developing human being.’
Laura Lipparoni is our expert Senior Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in Paediatrics.
